Austin Area High School Sports Awards: Meet winter nominees

Austin Area High School Sports Awards, presented by thomas c. Henry Lu, is proud to announce the nominees for all winter sports played last season. The winners will be announced during the live show that will be held on June 12 at The Long Center: Dell Hall in Austin.

The Austin Area High School Sports Awards Gala, one of 20 regional showcases across the United States, is a nine-month student-athlete recognition program that will culminate in a red carpet show this spring. The parade will honor athletes, coaches and teams from throughout the Austin area that play in sanctioned Texas high school sports.

During the live show, these nominees will be honored, along with the best player in the fall and spring sports. The awards show will also include other major awards for on- and off-the-field accomplishments for student-athletes, coaches and teams, including the Courage Award, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, and Boys and Girls Athlete. Awards of the year.
