Purdue, Indiana Sports Corp and USA Swimming to present USA Swimming LIVE during U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming in Indianapolis

The fan fest brings Boilermaker excitement to the Circle City just days before Purdue University kicks off in Indianapolis

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Old gold and black will be among the red, white and blue this June as Indianapolis hosts the tournament. U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming for the first time since 2000. Purdue University is partnering with Indiana Sports Corp and USA Swimming to present USA Swimming LIVE, a nine-day outdoor fan fest and tailgate center during the Trials June 15-23.

Held just days before the July 1 launch of Purdue University in Indianapolis — a new urban extension of its main campus in West Lafayette — the partnership underscores Purdue’s commitment to the city and state, while providing attendees the opportunity to learn more about Indiana’s only land — Foundation Scholarship and Top 10 Public Universities. The free daily event will feature live music, food, drinks and more from 1-7pm along Georgia Street in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. More than 250,000 fans are expected to attend the trials to watch more than 1,000 athletes compete for 52 spots to represent Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Four Boilermaker student-athletes – Brady Samuels (100 meter butterfly, 100 meter freestyle), Coleman Modglin (200 meter breaststroke) Macy Volcik (100 meter breaststroke) and Kate Mouser (400 meter individual medley) – They qualified for the trials and will compete for a chance at gold in Paris.
