Carla Wehbe is branching out into the world of fashion.

Singer-songwriter launch in Sydney Space cowboya gender-neutral label with a touch of inspiration toy story.

First to hit shelves is “The Big Bang” capsule featuring seven exclusive pieces, from trucker hats, T-shirts, soccer pants and more, with prices starting at $34.95. You will need to move quickly. The merchandise is available to order for a week only.

“The space cowboy pieces are inspired by the eras that came before us, but with their own flair,” Wehbe says in a statement. “The idea for Space Cowboy came about in 2017 because I found myself loving almost a lot of clothes, but there was always something I wished was a little different whether that was the fit, colors or smaller details.”

The inspiration for Space Cowboy can be narrowed down to two things. Wehbe’s love of seeing concepts that shouldn’t make sense together, two worlds colliding and somehow succeeding. And yes, the Pixar animated classic toy storyfeaturing the “space cowboy” duo Woody and Buzz.

“I came up with the idea of ​​launching my own brand in the summer of 2017, and after 7 years I finally did it,” she wrote on social media.

All merchandise is designed by Carla in Sydney, printed and produced by a small independent factory in Los Angeles, California, and uses eco-friendly materials, with the artist taking a pre-order-only production approach to eliminate waste or dead stock.

Space Cowboy products are said to be 100% plastic-free when delivered to customers, are packaged only in cardboard boxes at the factory, and branded mailers are made from 100% recycled materials.

“Carla has stated that each exclusive drop will only be available for a limited time to order,” a statement said, “which means that once the drop closes the pieces will no longer be available.”

Space Cowboy is not Wehbe’s first release this year.

Just last month, the rising star released “Sideshow” (via Warner Music Australia), arriving on the heels of live performances in support of G-Flip and Peach PRC.

Her career streams total over 12 million, including her sophomore EP from 2023 ‘Jupiter And Mars’, which earned praise from triple j, NME and Rolling Stone, and placed Carla on Live Nation’s ‘Ones To Watch’ list.

In 2021, Wehbe collaborated with Elie on the song “No Feelings” which appeared on the rapper’s No. 1 ARIA album “The Space Between”;
