Canadian Sport Tech Startups Selected to Join Future of Sport Lab

FSL’s fourth cohort highlights a dynamic group of Canadian founders who have been accepted into Canada’s top sports incubator program

Toronto, June 4, 2024–(Business wire)–The future of sports lab FSL announced the acceptance of nine Canadian sports technology startups into its popular incubator program. The companies belong to a range of sectors including artificial intelligence, athlete training, fan engagement, wearable technology, smart equipment, analytics and sports betting.

The selection also includes a group of dynamic Canadian sports founders including former CFL player James Yurychuk as the FSL continues to support sports entrepreneurs.

Each startup will receive immersive programming in partnership with leading business incubator DMZ, access to leading academics, and the opportunity to engage and receive mentoring from leaders across the FSL network. Startups that graduated through the FSL program have gone on to raise more than $100 million in new funding and investment along with securing a number of important sports business partnerships.
