These 5 Summer Fashion Trends Made Their Debut at Coachella
last Coachella It has come and gone, proving that festival season is the perfect start to seeing what’s new Summer trends emerging on the horizon. I attended Weekend 1 this year, and while I was excited to see some of my favorite artists like Tyler, The Creator, and Lana Del Rey, I was even more excited to see what people would be wearing. In the midst of a suspected bad summer, you can feel the old Coachella influences at play in fashion.

This year, customization is everything. From bag charms to embellished sneakers, festival-goers chose to utilize their usual accessories to make a statement. Dania Issawi, fashion writer for The Cut, told me that one of her festival fashion highlights is customizing a pair of her Adidas sneakers for the festival, choosing to add ribbons, pins, and a string of pearls to her shoes.
